Early predawn amidst a blanket of pastel colors, the full moon begins its quiet descent down to the horizon where the sky meets the warm salty waters of the Gulf of Mexico. The moon's dreamy glowing beams are radiating the tops of the soft blue waves coming ashore, which are kissing the sugary white sands of Pass-A-Grille beach. Into the silence, I'm wondering out loud--my God, is there anything more beautiful than moonlight on this water?
And then she appeared before me, as if to answer my question right on cue...Like a mystical mermaid, magically materializing out of the shadows from seemingly thin air. She's a stunning "Gulf Coast Girl" on her paddleboard, gliding across the sea into the moonbeams, in an ocean of color, singing along to Jimmy Buffett tunes on repeat in her head, with not a single care in the world...As I watch her paddle off into the moonset, it's all a breathtaking vision making this beautiful morning even more glorious than heavenly possible...
